Preface
Just a few months ago, the Avalanche (AVAX) ecosystem turned on the lights for the first time. Within a few short months, the network has brought together some of the brightest minds in decentralized finance who have built, and continue to build, incredible pioneering protocols. Hundreds of communities have been created, with thousands of tweets posted on projects new and old alike; however, there remains some difficulty in finding new projects and discussing existing ones. Our goal is to create exciting networking opportunities and to engage the community in learning about protocols in a dedicated community space.
The Current Paradigm
The way we see it, Avalanche is like a mall. We have dozens of shops (projects) with a plethora of products. Despite the mall being filled with beneficiaries to other shops, as well as competitors, mutual success is paramount to a healthy and vibrant network. Our aim is to tear down the walls that render this “shopping” experience difficult, creating and fostering a social hub for all things Avalanche.

Indeed, it’s time to restructure the ecosystem — because together, we are #AvalancheStrong:
Avalanche Alpha has spent the past few weeks talking with dozens of protocols in the ecosystem. Together, we are united in our vision to create and foster a pioneering community hub for the users, by the users. As part of our vision we will:
- Host frequent transparent AMAs with projects large, small, and completely new on Avalanche to a broader community at no cost to the projects — ever
- Commit to education, discussion, and healthy debate on all things Avalanche
- Give a voice to projects that have just begun development who need that initial exposure
- Work with projects on Avalanche to facilitate and boost user acquisition on Avalanche
- Foster the development of a united network passionate and dedicated to finding any and all alpha
- Provide a space for project-to-project and user-to-project networking opportunities
That’s just to start. Passion resonates between all of us on the team for this ecosystem — we’re extremely excited to kickstart what we believe is a paradigm shift for the network.
